One of the main reasons we wrote our book Living the Law of Attraction was we noticed so many people learning about the Law of Attraction but struggling to apply it. One critical aspect of using the law is gratitude. Living in a state of gratitude is a necessity.
When you consciously choose to live in a state of gratitude, you automatically begin to feel good. It’s not possible to think about the amazing things in your life and not feel good! By focusing on what is good, you will attract more good into your world. (Conversely, if you focus on what is ‘bad’, more bad will come flooding your way). It sounds so simple… because it is!
Try this exercise for the next 30 days: Each morning, list out 10 things that you are grateful for. There is no wrong way to do this; the key is to begin each day focused on what is working in your life. Focus on what you are grateful for. It does not matter how messed up you think your life might be, you still have plenty to be grateful for. In fact, I’d bet there are millions of people around the world who would change places with you in a second.
In case you need a little help to get started, consider things like: your mind, body and soul, your children, spouse, significant other, lover, best friends, home, car, pets, money in your bank account, job, business, country, the weather, mother-in-law, whatever…
Try this on for 30 days and just see what happens. Living in a state of gratitude is essential to successfully use the Law of Attraction.
